Properties/Facilities/Services

Students and student organizations are expected to respect the property of others (including that of the university) and may be subject to disciplinary action for the following:

  • damage, destruction, reckless and/or negligent behavior, defacement of the property of another, including littering or chalking of university property that results in or could foreseeably result in damage to university property or facilities;
  • unauthorized access, entry, and/or use of university or non-university facilities or property, including but not limited to buildings, classrooms, residential rooms, athletic areas, parking areas, roofs, ledges, and tunnels;
  • unauthorized possession, misuse, removal, relocation, or obstruction of property or equipment belonging to the university; 
  • violation of any policy or guidelines pertaining to specific usage of a university facility and/or
  • threatening damage, destruction or defacement of property
