Theft

Theft and possession of stolen property are prohibited. Theft is the unauthorized taking of property and/or property/services of another. Possessing stolen property occurs when a student or students know or reasonably should have known that property in their possession was obtained through theft, including knowingly being in possession of stolen goods. This includes, but is not limited to, unauthorized use of vehicles, equipment, services, the Duke University name and logo, university bookstore, and dining establishments.
