Senior Program Coordinator
Senior Program Coordinator Melissa Paneto joined Duke University in November 2023 after serving as a Community Outreach Specialist with The Bulls of Durham. Sr. Program Coordinator Melissa Paneto’s role with The Bulls of Durham included the developing and executing of social media marketing campaigns by creating engaging content to promote hundreds of Small Business Owners in the Triangle Area, NC.
Before her role with The Bulls of Durham, Sr. Program Coordinator Paneto was a Residential Coordinator for a transitional housing program called Stepping Stones, which provided housing and supportive services to youth ages 16-20 experiencing homelessness in Bloomington, Indiana. Sr. Program Coordinator Paneto obtained her Master of Social Worker degree at IUPUI in Indianapolis, NC, and their Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Child Sciences at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. Outside of Duke and in her spare time, Sr. Program Coordinator Paneto loves to be active (Walks, Hikes, Barre Fitness Classes) and enjoys television shows like The Office.
